Bank level security and encryption
We encrypt all data that goes between you and Everwealth using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security), protecting your personal and financial data. Your data is also encrypted when we transfer it between data centres for backup and replication.
Everwealth's servers are located within enterprise-grade hosting facilities that employ robust physical security controls to prevent physical access to the servers they house. These controls include 24/7/365 monitoring and surveillance, on-site security staff and regular ongoing security audits. Everwealth maintains multiple geographically separated data replicas and hosting environments to minimise the risk of data loss or outages.
Everwealth will never store your banking credentials on our systems, we understand that this must be the most secure part of our system, thus we have partnered with Yodlee - a global leader to ensure your details safe and secure.
Read-only bank feeds
Everwealth is not like your traditional banks. When we connect to Yodlee to get your financial information we consume a read-only feed which only allows us to access your balances and transactions - this means that no one (not even you) can move money in or out of any of your accounts via Everwealth.
Our partnership with Yodlee
All financial data is provided to us by Yodlee, a global leader in banking technology. Yodlee's platform serves over 950 FinTech organisations around the world, over 40 million users, and with over 15 years' experience behind them they are trusted by many of the top institutions such as HSBC, ANZ, XERO, and AMAZON.
Yodlee are audited by the US government and other large entities such as the Federal Financial Institutions Council - so you can be sure your banking details are protected to the highest standards possible.
We have algorithms running across our systems 24/7 identifying unusual activity. This is something the banks should pick up first but if they happen to miss anything then rest assured we are watching also.
Also, via our simple alerting system you can increase your financial security even further. We find that many users setup alerts to be notified of transactions that are $200 or more – thus keeping a close eye on outgoings.
If you have any questions regarding our security, please contact us and we will gladly discuss them with you.
